My name is Diera Haynes, I am a wife, mother of 3 and a nurse of 9 years. Owning a daycare has always been my dream because of my love for children and after many years I am finally bringing that dream into fruition.
We aim to provide a safe learning environment and quality care for families. Setting a strong foundation for the fundamental development of our children socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
Every child’s care should be individualized to that child’s needs. Our goal is to provide a very intimate, nurturing environment with low teacher to child ratios. The goal is to encourage them to love learning on a more personable level.
I believe that children should be allowed to be children. In order for children to perform on great levels their foundations (such as self esteem) is a critical component to their growth. At Light Haus Academy we will focus on building those foundations up and letting children learn through play.
